Country Choices
by Jenna DeLaurentis
Lately I've been second guessing some of my country choices. There are just so many options and I don't know for sure which countries I want on my list. Right now it is somewhat like this:
2.) Belgium
3.) Norway vs. Sweden.
4.) Argentina vs. Brazil.
5.) Brazil?
I am considering going way out of my comfort zone and thinking about putting India on my list. Do I want Japan? Finland?
This is difficult.

Keep Sweden!!! Though, I am going there, so I'm a bit biased, but here is why you should keep Sweden:
ReplyDelete1. Sweden is in the EU, while Norway isn't. Being apart of the EU makes it much easier to travel to other parts of Europe.
2. Norway is more expensive than Sweden.
3. The countries are very similar, both in language and culture, but seeing as Sweden had control of Norway until 1804ish, their is more Swedish than it is Norwegian. hehe
I'm sure I have more reasons but that is all I can think of now. =)
Like Danni said, keep Sweden :) Yes, I'm also going to Sweden but for all the reasons she gave and so many others, Sweden deserves to be a top choice. One of the reasons Danni forgot is that more people speak Swedish than Norwegian, and that there isn't a definite kind of Norwegian language. :P And if I were you, I'd put at least one South American country in my top three. Maybe replacing Belgium as you've been thinking? those are just ideas though :). Choosing countries can be tough and it took me a very long time last year. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Fizzy and I'm from CS (iFizz): remember that Norway is not an EU country and that Sweden is :) Maybe that will help you with some indecisiveness? ;)
